Altogether 20 junior footballer of the State left from here on Sunday to join Tata Football Academy (TFA) at Jamshedpur for a fifteen day training camp. National players Bijay Kumar and Md Kaushar would conduct the camp at TFA.
Before leaving for the camp the players were participated in a six day long practice camp bhubaneswar at Unit-6 High School Ground, being organised by Unit-6 Athletic Association.
The players were selected from the Bhubaneswar School League and Biju Patnaik Gold Cup tournaments held here. Reputed football coach Maheswar Singh, Susant Mohanty and Pradip Das were conducted the camp here.
Earlier, two of Odisha players Sk Mustakin and Pankaj Sona attended the camp. While, Mustakin got a job with East Coast Railway and Sona joined professional football club Aryan , Kolkata, said president Tapan Kumar Mohanty. “This is a constant and continues effort from the association to guide the junior players of our State to build their future in football, added Mohanty.
