Regional Head of the Union Bank Sachindra Kishore Agarwal today said that the bank having transaction worth Rs 8700 crore including deposits and advance in the State, has a business target of Rs 10,000 crore in the current fiscal.
Speaking on the occasion of the shifting of bank’s main branch from Janpath area to Ashok Nagar in the city here, he said, “To provide better banking service in the state, a new regional office would be set up in Sambalpur shortly this year. We have a massive expansion plan for this year both in banks and ATM services”. Out of a total of 81 branches and 75 ATMs in the State, the bank has 11 branches and 20 ATMs in the capital city.
Inaugurating the bank’s newly office building Managing Director of the Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Suresh Kumar Vashishth wished all success of the bank.
Among others, Assistant General Manager V P Usheria and Chief Manager Krupasindhu Nayak were present on the occasion.
