Abinash Nayak will lead Odisha in the final phase of the 34th Sub-junior National Football Championship for Coca Cola Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy to be held at Goa from March 8 to 23.
Football Association of Odisha announced a 20-member State team on Friday with Suraj Toppo as vice-captain.
The team includes eight from Sambalpur, six from Cuttack, two from Koraput and one each from Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Bargarh districts.
The team will leave for Goa on Saturday, accompanied by coach Akshay Das. Odisha will start their campaign against host Goa on March 8. They are scheduled to play their next three league matches against Meghalaya, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh on March 10, 12 and 16 respectively.
