Odisha Government to launch twenty four hours pre- hospital emergency medical service (Ambulance) in the state. On this regard the state Health and Family Welfare department sign a MoU today dated on August 1.
The MoU signed on the presence of the state Health & Family Welfare minister Prasanna Achrya, Pradipta Mohapatra, Secretary Health & Family Welfare and Project Director NRHM, Pramod Kumar Meherda.
This facility covering fifteen districts-Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Ganjam, Rayagada and Koraput.
This ambulance services will facilitate, reduction of maternal and child mortality as well as deaths and disabilities providing medical attention within stipulated time.
